Plaintiff was involved in two California/Mexico area property disputes with the County and City of San Diego, respectively. Together, they yielded $176 million in judgments for the plaintiff. The first case involved the County in an eminent domain dispute about property taken over for a detention facility. The second case involved the City in a breach of contract and inverse condemnation dispute about a business park adjacent to the international border.
